Raw files in any format. We check sample rate, clipping, and which voice is on which track before touching anything.
Elm Quarter Audio edits, mixes, masters, and publishes narrative and interview podcasts. You record. We leave the good parts sounding like you.
For founders · nonprofits · indie publishers“Most of the edit is deciding what to leave alone.”

Edit, mix, master, show notes, and publishing. One round of notes per episode.
Scene-by-scene mix, music cues, sound design, and a season-level master.
One recording with room echo, a dropped call, or a hum. We say so before billing if it can’t be saved.
Clean transcript, chapters, and a written summary. Added to any package.
Send one episode. We’ll say what we’d change.
Founders, nonprofits, and indie publishers send us hours of tape. We send back something a listener finishes. Most of the hours are spent on things nobody will ever notice, which is the point.
Episode six, second pass. Two breaths restored, one cough removed. The pause at 14:02 left exactly as it was.
“Every cut gets thirty seconds of your room’s own silence under it.”
Edits sound like edits when the background drops to digital black. We lay your room’s tone under each splice so nothing falls off a cliff and nobody hears the seam.
Elm Quarter Audio — house rule no. 1Twenty minutes on the phone settles most of it.
Every episode takes the same road. Scroll sideways to follow it.

Ums thinned, not erased. Dead air tightened. Retakes spliced on a breath, not on a word.
Voices matched to each other, noise floor lowered, music ducked under speech and brought back up in the gaps.
Loudness set to −16 LUFS stereo (−19 mono), true peak under −1 dB. It plays at the same level as everything else on the phone.
Audio, artwork, chapters, and show notes uploaded to your host and checked in a real podcast app.
Stems and project files archived and sent to you. The invoice follows, not before.
Usually. A rescue job is $95 per recording. If it can’t be saved, we tell you before any invoice goes out.
A shared folder link works. After the first call we can send an upload link instead. Multitrack, stereo, or a Zoom export are all fine.
Five working days for a single episode from the day files arrive. Batches of four run nine. Narrative seasons are scheduled on the call.
By invoice, per season package or per episode batch, due net 14. Pay by ACH, card, or check. There is no retainer.
One round of notes per episode is included. A second round is $30 per episode.
The season starts when the first file lands.
The studio is a quiet room in Sugar Land. Sessions run by appointment, and most clients never visit. Calls and uploads work fine.
